I tell my friends that Hot Flash is my favorite event in Seattle and they laugh at me because I'm in my mid-20's. But it's the best kept secret in the state; body-to-body women of all ages having a rocking good time, everyone dancing, socializing, meeting and greeting without the chilly aloofness that so adeptly describes the overall Seattle lesbian scene.

The warm and friendly atmosphere is what makes Hot Flash so special. It's a total reprieve from the typically indifferent reception I've received at traditional lesbian events. I feel really welcome and consistently meet the most outgoing ladies who I've become long-term friends with.  

I'd like this public testimonial to once and for all invalidate the lame reputation Hot Flash has among the 20-somethings. My homefries are missing out!

I just want to tell you that in this past year Kelcie has been kickin ass keeping the place jumping and making sure all of us Ladies feel welcome and loved. She has brought the masses together:  young, old, black and white.  And that is something that hasn't happened in San Diego for a long while. So thank you for allowing Kelcie to be with us!

I love the dances. I work three jobs and going to the dances and dancing my ass off  really helps me keep my stress down. I really wish the music had a little more varity. Maybe more 60's and 70's rock. Don't get me wrong, if it's music I will be dancing . I love feeling safe and am really happy to be able to dance and not have some guy think I'm hitting on him. I feel safe,happy, and proud of who I am. Thank you for making that possible .You are a BLESSING.

I just want to let you know how much fun it was for my friends and I to come from Bend to your dance in Eugene on the 10th! We had so much fun. Everyone we met made our visit over your way well worth it! Such a great crowd! Cari came over and introduced herself. It was just nice, amazing people!
